BAJA DESIGNS TRIPLE CROWN NIGHT RACE SERIES

Cost $45.00 per rider on team
$55.00 for Ironman
Team may have up to 3 racers and maximum of 2 bikes
Race is 2 hours long

All skill levels Expert, Amateur, & Novice

Ironman does not have a breakdown on skill level or bike size, they all start together on the
same line

• All teams must switch riders each lap
• Ironman racers must come to a complete stop in the pits each lap before resuming
• All racers must obey the 15 mph speed limit in the pits or risk being disqualified
• If racing in an age based class, all racers must be the minimum age for this class
• If racing a bike size class, both bikes must be the same cc- no switching bikes even if bike
  breaks
• The skill level for teams will be determined by the fastest racer on the team
• All bikes must have proper off road night lighting setup- no flashlights or temporary lighting
  allowed
• All racers need to have the flashing red light on the back of them

• 1 “Rider of Record” must race ALL 3 races
• Rider of Record may change teammates on each round if necessary
• All riders will earn points based on Overall finish position
• Overall Triple Crown winner will be the Team that earns the most points overall after the 3 races
• There will be trophies/prizes for the overall and per class

Trophies

• There must be 4 riders in a class in order for there to be a 1st place trophy issued.
• There must be 8 riders for a 2nd place and 12 riders for a 3rd place .
• There will only be 2 trophies issued per team even if there are 3 riders
